ModularChat is a universal communicator available through a web page.

Thanks to advanced technologies based on AJAX, you don't have to install any other application nor plugin to your browser to launch the ModularChat communicator.

ModularChat can work in various configurations depending on the client's needs:

• direct contact between a consultant and a person visiting e.g. company's web page,
• a chat between all the people visiting a given page,
• a chat between registered users (like in any other communicator), e.g. internal communication channel for employees.

This configuration creates a forum allowing quick exchange of opinions between the users. It looks similar to internet chats: all the people visiting a given page can take part in the same conversation. The ModularChat communicator may be launched 'on demand' or it may be constantly present on the page.

Communication between registered users

This configuration looks like classic internet communicators such as ICQ or MSN Messenger / Yahoo! Messenger etc. A user chooses an interlocutor from his or her address book and starts a conversation. The main advantage of ModularChat is that the user doesn't have to install any applications nor plugins - all he or she needs is a web browser. To have an 'available' status, the user only has to open a page supported by the communicator. If somebody sends a message to the user, the ModularChat communicator launches automatically. ModularChat offers various access control options as well as advanced contact management. It is also possible to create gateways to other internet communicators and chatting with its users.
